Videoly for Brands wins L'Oréal Nordics Innovation Day competition

Videoly for Brands was announced the winner of L’Oréal Nordics Innovation Day 2022 – a competition where five groundbreaking startups pitched their solutions to beauty industry leader L’Oréal.

This win begins Videoly for Brands’ partnership with L’Oréal with the prize being a fully funded, best-in-class pilot project to continue advancing e-commerce growth and superior online experience.

  • Win kickstarts collaboration with L’Oréal to fuel e-commerce growth through automated video distribution
  • Videoly for Brands streamlines video content management and distribution between brands and their resellers

Videoly for Brands lets brands take control of how and where their videos are shown by connecting brands’ own videos directly to online stores, unlocking essential data insights in the process.

Empowering brands and consumers through product video

“This is an amazing chance to partner with a company as forward-thinking as L’Oréal. We’re excited to help boost their online conversions and together help consumers make the right purchase decisions through the power of product video,” says Videoly for Brands lead Minna Tuomela.

Videoly for Brands will help L’Oréal remove the need for manual content distribution work via automated video distribution. Videos will connect directly to retailers’ product pages, unlocking data insights on video performance and customer behavior in the process.

“It’s also an exceptional opportunity to develop our solution even further in collaboration with the beauty industry’s global leader,” Minna continues.

Engaging video content key to customer decision making

“Videoly for Brands’ solution fuels e-commerce acceleration by building strong and attractive video content to explain how our products work by embedding videos across our e-commerce ecosystems, focusing on edutainment content that helps our consumers navigate the messy consideration phase of their decision journey. Given Videoly’s strong results on business performance and focus on empowered collaborations, we’re very much looking forward to launching the pilot and building a long-lasting partnership,” says JaKenna Gilbert, Nordic Group Digital Director, L’Oréal.

The Innovation Day is part of the L’Oréal Nordic Innovation model, bringing external and internal ideas together to drive innovation and digital technologies at L’Oréal. Learn more about the L’Oréal Open Innovation Program here.
